Why we recommend the EMU M-Center
M-Bus and Modbus, MQTT with the Helvatron MQTT broker as a service, built-in SIM and BMS interfaces: in the Gulf region, we read more than 300,000 meters this way.

EMU M-Center: data logger and gateway
The M-Center reads Helvatron meters via M-Bus and Modbus and passes the values on to building automation, energy management and billing.
- M-Bus master for up to 250 devices
- Two RS-485 interfaces for up to 64 Modbus devices

Joulio-Web is EMU’s energy management software, operated as a cloud solution in a professional data centre and certified to ISO 50001.

Who does what?
Helvatron AG develops and manufactures the H2O and DELTA III meters.
EMU Electronic AG develops and manufactures the M-Center and Joulio-Web, as well as electricity meters.
Both companies belong to the Helventure Group and are based in Baar. Projects involving both product ranges are coordinated jointly.

Metering as a service
Helvatron also offers heat and cooling meters as a service: BTU meters are retrofitted with no upfront investment for the owner. The meter is rented, with installation and billing included. Our team in Dubai runs the billing service.
