Visiting the website

When a page is requested, the web server stores technically necessary information such as IP address, date and time, requested address, browser and operating system in log files. We use it to operate the website securely and reliably. It is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short period.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies for analytics or advertising and does not embed tracking services. Fonts and graphics are hosted on our own server; no data is transferred to font providers when a page is loaded.

Contact form and email

When you write to us via the form or by email, we process your details to answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation. Required fields are name, email address and message. The details from the form are transferred directly to our ticket system (Zammad), which our sister company EMU Electronic AG in Baar operates for us (helpdesk.emuag.ch). The form is loaded from this server; in the process, your IP address and technical characteristics of your browser are transmitted, which help to protect against automated requests. If your enquiry concerns the Middle East, we forward it to Helvatron Measuring & Control Systems LLC in Dubai. We keep enquiries for as long as is necessary to process them and to meet statutory retention obligations.

Disclosure and transfers abroad

We do not pass your data on to third parties, except to companies within our group to handle your enquiry and to technical service providers who operate the website for us. When data is processed in the United Arab Emirates, we take the precautions required by law.

Links to other websites, such as emuag.com, lead to services with their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can request information about your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted and object to processing. Please write to info@helvatron.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
